could you put an ad on Craigslist and interview a family or two , go see thier home and put down exactly what you are looking for for placement
Like you want a family with children , a fenced in back yard, make sure they have a vet , they have a job ect.. it is possible for you to take them same steps a rescue would take to place her!!
