Her dog is a puppy and can adjust more easily as opposed to Maggie who is used to her routine. Maybe she needs to crate train her puppy so she doesn't have to worry about pottying or maybe she can buy a baby gate and keep the puppy in her room so she won't eat Maggie's food. I would tell her how it is. Otherwise you will ALWAYS be the one compromising.
I was thinking about the bedroom thing too. I just feel bad, because that means that Maggie will be locked in my room She's finally almost all the way house trained and I like rewarding her by letting her enjoy the WHOLE apartment. She won't get a cage because we have a babygate so we can close the kitchen off. And there's no way she'd pen he rin her room, because she would make a huge mess. So, I really need to figure something out.
Thank you so much for your help.
