I'm fairly new to this and I'm sure there will be others that can answer this better but one suggestion is to have some Nutrical on hand. It is a high calorie dietary supplement. My breeder suggested giving it a few times a day until he was settled and eating well. I would also give it to him before anything stressful like a trip to the vet. Best of luck with your new little one.
