the first time i gave in to giving milu people food is when we are having dinner. she cried, i ignored her. and then she started performing all the tricks she knows. (sit, down, spin, play dead, ...etc.) i still ignored her.
and then she went to her pee pad, and squeezed really hard and peed.
then i caved.
i just thought if she wants it THAT bad, then i guess i should give her a little bit...
probably a bad move on my part. but i am weak! |
That is hilarious that she knows just how to make mom happy! I was laughing out loud at your story.
Yes, we've been able to stick with it but after having to deal with so many issues of Daxton's because of his weight, it really made an impact on me. Another problem of his was his teeth and I think that was caused by his only eating canned food. That's what my grandpa fed him and he wouldn't eat anything else after we moved. When he passed away at 15 years old, he only had maybe 5 or 6 teeth left. He was fairly healthy though and definitely happy up until the end. He just taught me a lot of things that I should have done differently.
