 Update on analysis of food
Just wanted to give a final update: I was back in touch with the petstore where the canned food came from and Chicken Soup got back to them with the results of the food analysis. There was a problem with the meat. Chicken Soup will not say what the problem was only that they have switch the company in which the meat came from. Although they've had returns and although dogs have become sick they will not voluntarily pull the product. To me this is irresponsible. I contacted them today again and was given the same info. that the issue was with the meat and that there would be no permanant damage. I have to disagree with this. I fed five yorkies two cans divided up among the five. ONLY TWO cans and they were sick very sick for over a week. Lethargic, Diareah and vomiting. I have to question what would have happend had I not realized that it was a food issue and had I continued to feed them this food. Think about it, two cans made five yorkies this sick. If two cans made them this sick then surely feeding them more may have killed them. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FOOD.
