He is perkin up pretty well now.... I did stop by the vet and she was nice enough to come out and take a look at him and listen to all the details of how he's been, what i've done to help him, etc....
She believes he got dehydrated and that made him sick... She said getting the pedialyte was a really smart thing to do and since he's not vomiting anymore and he's eating and still keeping it down, she's sure he was dehydrated. He looked well enough for her to tell me to take him home, let him rest and just keep an eye on him.... If symptoms start again or new ones come, then bring him back....
I'm pretty confident she is right. It has been hot here and we were doing a lot of running around recently... I even seen him panting a couple of times after playing w/ my friends little dog pretty hard. It worried me. but he was having so much fun. I will be sure to make him rest next time he is playing rough and he's starting to pant.... etc.... I've read that these little guys are sensitive to things like that. |
