Joey's been on Royal Canin and is doing great on it. I've tried switching, (we have too many choices here!), and always go back to the RC, last food switch caused massive eye drainage! While RC is not super high in protein, some experts believe that that is best. Joey eats Bully Sticks for his teeth, they are a hard chewing stick, and are made of all lean protein, so I feel like this supplements the protein, and I also give him beef liver treats, I make myself. If your dog has no problems with corn this seems to be a good food. Corn can cause extreme itchiness in some dogs. From what I've read, RC has excellent quality control, and that's also a major factor in my choosing them. |
