My yorkie started chewing wires also.
I'm a newbie, so I'm not sure if this is the ideal answer, but I usually block my Yorkie off from places with lots of wires. We live in an apartment too, so I feel your pain. We have a baby gate set up in one place, and two boxes blocking the other two places that have dangers (wires, etc.). It has worked very well for us because we are big enough to step over the baby gate and boxes with little effort, but the yorkie cannot get past the obstacles. Just watch out for the baby gate, because if it isn't tight enough, your yorkie can squeeze past, believe me, mind did it, LOL. |
