I know when I had Pebbles and Trixie done they were really tired and mushy for the first day. I bought the onsies and I bought a cone (just in case) I really didn't need either they didn't bother with the stitches. I know they have those soft cones now, they didn't have them when my girls were spayed. The onsie I out on Trixie only and she slept in her crate for the first few nights. Coco and Pebbles would sleep right outside the crate so they were near her (so cute) By the time the morning came that little rascal had the onsie totally off!!! I was just really careful when I picked her up. You can't pick her up under the arms because it stretches the midsection. You have to kind of scoop them up by their butt so they don't stretch. Also no jumping. Be careful of the couch/bed etc. Good luck hope all goes well for your baby! Sending big hugs for a quick recovery.
