Before we can adopt a dog, they have to do a home visit... DF and I are looking to adopt another dog. Once Chester gets neutered, we will be getting a home visit from the adoption agency to determine if we are a good fit for a chihuahua/doxie mix we are interested in. He is such a cutie!
So, I am looking for information on what I should be prepared for. What exactly will they be looking for, aside from the obvious dangers? What are some things that they absolutely do not want to see? Anything special I need to do to prepare? Anyone who has had a home visit for a pet adoption done or who has actually conducted one - I'd love to hear your input. Thanks!
