Luigi hated all collars and harnesses too. I think it was do to the vet muzzling him when he was small because he was bitting the vet and his techs during a hospital stay. I only take off his collar (to hold his tags only) to bath him or brush him. When I first put one on him he used to bit at it to get it off. I only put his harness on to walk him or put him on his run. At first he would go crazy bitting, growling and snarling. But with patience and lots of love all I have to do is say, "who wants to go outside" and he patiently lets me put his harness on now. This has only been the past 3 weeks that he has allowed this. He is 7 months old. Now he only growls and snarls taking it off. LOL
