Mika was the same. Any new puppy will dislike anything new put on them. I would struggle to put a collar or harness on Mika but I would put it on and left it on for a while and then take it off. He got use to it and is happy for me to put his harness on now. I did have a collar on him but I now only use a harness as it is safer.
