I hope Pixie is doing a little bit better!! My daughter had a similar problem when she was little around 2 at the advise of Drs at childrens hospital Boston, I was told to give her mineral oil 3 x a day, she would not even have to poop it would slide out, it worked and eventually her muscles in her bowel got strong enough to push on her own... it started because 1 time she was constipated and afraid to go, she held it for long periods of time due to the pain.. perhaps when your pups anal glad ruptured she was in pain and held her poop for fear of pain, now wont push
anyways Just thinking that a little mineral oil to her diet will help it slide out with out even pushing?????
