You could try putting a pad under your dining room table, and then moving the pad gradually to a more suitable area. If you don't do that, you need to keep her away from her spot. Do you clean with an enzyme cleaner? I would not let her into the dining room until she learns to poop somewhere else. Are her bowel movements predictable? If they are at roughly the same time of day, you know to keep an especially close eye on her then.
I know this is gross, but you could put some of her poop (or a remnant) on the pad to encourage her to go there.
Dogs generally like to poop somewhere that is quiet and comfortable, like on a rug underneath a table. They also generally like to poop far away from their food. westieboy suggested feeding dogs near their preferrred poop spot, since this motivates them to find another place.
It might also help to put another pad out for her that she can use just for pooping.
