Those are great pics, Kathy. I particularly like the one where you caught him running with your boy. It really captures that Yorkie spirit, doesn't it?
widdo keewo...
Yeah, I'm sure a cone collar will be in order. How on earth are you going to keep him from frolicking in the bacteria? Every time one of mine has had surgery I've been a total wreck...but, everything's always been successful. It can drive you nuts trying to keep them from jumping around, though. Once they get out of the hospital they seem to instantly snap back to normal. Horrifying.
Kilo will be fine...the question is, are you going to make it? |
Well, no cone collar and so far he is leaving his belly alone. We just gave him a jar of babyfood and he WOLFED it down. Doc wants us to give him only pureed carrots, potatoes, rice and chicken for the next I don't remember how long. Stitches come out in a week, he needs to stay contained for 4 days, no jumping or running for 4 days, so many other things I can't even remember anymore.
He is resting right now and was VERY happy and animated when we picked him up. Good to have him home and everyone was so happy to see him.
Thanks everyone for your amazing support!
