I agree, the trainer isn't really training your dog, she will teach you the exact method in which to train your dog, and answer any questions you might have concerning training. Unless you take the time to practice several times a day, the dog will not learn anything. I found training works best if Joey was slightly hungry, and eventually I started using his breakfast for training. Training right after a meal, is frustrating, because they aren't that anxious to learn or pay attention. Good luck, although we completed a trick training class, Joey still could use an obediance class!
