 Still Kennels
Your poor dog probably has suffered trauma with the Stills. Be patient with her. She deserves understanding and maybe a good dog trainer. My cockapoo that I got from our humane society at around 8 months of age was a mess. You could tell he had been kept in a cellar for he would try to get down our's and when he did, would go to the bathroom there. If you would go to pat his head he would show his teeth...obviously hit. After 3 basic sessions (6 classes each), 3 advanced sessions and one agility he is doing wonderful. When he goes down cellar it is just to be with me. If I pat him, he licks. Some take longer but it is worth it in the end. I have other rescued dogs and with patience, love and time they eventually become great members of the family. Good luck with your's. |
