I understand your worries. It is hard when you have little ones and putting them under. AprilLove had not quite hit 3 lbs when I had her spayed. I remember the worry very well.

I would talk to your vet and ask what monitoring equipment they use.

Ask them what emergency procedures they have if her heart stopped.

(I know you don't want to think about that, but the more you talk to your vet about all these things, the more secure you will feel if they provide the absolute best precautions for your baby)
Some add additional options for more cost that go above and beyond just the basic monitoring while they are under anestesia. You can have them do a full blood panel instead of just the "basic" that a lot of them do beforehand. Have her heart checked beforehand. Some just check Hemo, bloodcount, and Liver, kidney values.

Will they be using warming blankets, monitering body temperature, will they hook up to ecg, ekg to monitor heart? Will blood pressure/body temp be monitored? How many techs will be in the room with the vet monitoring?

Iso or Sevo flourane?

The more you ask your vet, the more you will want to ask, and the better you will feel about the procedure, if they are good vet, they will be able to answer all your questions.
