It is a scary thing. I almost cancelled mine. Austin went this tues. I waited until he got a little bigger (he's 5pounds now) at 5months. Hes a conehead. And hates it (you can read about my troubles in another post regarding this cone)
Keeping him still has not been to bad. We have done no walks, no crazy playtime. Lots of naps in the crate. Lots of "please just sit with mommy time". Actually I think because he's so angry about the cone I think it helps him to be kinda gloomy and inactive. I know he's OK and its just this cone because when the cone comes off for a second he's my crazy "Austin my Austin" again I'll take his temporary depression over an infection anyday.
