I've been following the OP's threads as well about the interest in purchasing a puppy and it seems no matter what kind of advice anyone has given them, they will still do want they want.

Puppies are live, precious gems. I'm in the same boat with you all that are confused by this situation. No matter how sick my puppy is (even terminally) I'd just want to make sure it was given the best care possible, not return it immediately and look for another inexpensive puppy. However, I'm glad the breeder was able to take the puppy back, hopefully they will get the puppy healthy again and re-home it to someone that can commit to it's health issues.

Owning a pet, is a 15-20 year financial commitment. Sorry to be so abrasive.
