Since you've had him for only 3 weeks he might take a while to get used to your schedule
But in the meantime you can try a few things that might make it easier
First when you leave don't make a big production of it
No good byes and no kisses telling him that Mommy will see you later
Make it as matter of fact and clean as you can
On a day that you are off
Try and go in and out of the house many times leaving him there so he becomes desensitized to your leaving and that you're leaving isn't always for hours on end
