Layla used to be the same way- because I was not "in charge" and she knew that- so she felt she had to take charge of the situation and protect me. We have changed MANY things and now it is clear to her that I am in control and she dosn't have to worry about that anymore and she is MUCH better with other dogs. Also, i don't get stressed anymore when we are going to approach other dogs- i used to and she could sense that...
