Yelena, in defense of the OP, she may not have been talking about members of the YTCA or the local club. A person can have many wonderful experiences at the dogs shows but it can take just one bad experience to really get you down. Since you have not been showing long you may not have encountered any of this but there is a lot that goes on outside the show ring that you might not be aware of. The OP did come back and talk about the good things about showing.

I have had a few bad days myself where I got really down after a show. It was not because of loosing or anything like that but just from me being overly sensitive about things that I should not let bother me.

I know sometimes new exhibitors and spectators take things the wrong way and feel they are getting ignored but the truth is that it takes a lot of work and stress preparing your dog for the show and often afterwards some people just get in a hurry to leave or in the case of handlers, they may have other dogs to get ready to show.
