Take your ideal weight x 10 and that's how many calories you should take in a day.

Example: if you want to be 130 pounds take 130x10 = 1300 calories you should have in a day.

But if you exercise every day and say you burn off 200 calories then you can take in 1500 calories..does this make sense?
