Some dogs do release bile in the middle of the night. I would be sure the vet is aware that she hadn't eaten for that long, so they can be watching out for her to go hypoglycemic. If he's a good small dog vet, he'll be watching for than anyway, but it never hurts to call and voice your concerns. And while you're on the phone, check to make sure they use gas inhalant anesthesia only. Call them now...
