That woman would've had a visit from me. It would've happened in a room, during a meeting I set up with her, the Principle, VP and school board President.
Extreme? Maybe. But she would think before she opened her mouth to someone else's child. | I agree. You know Dr. Phil did an episode about we teach people how to treat us by how we respond to them. Setting up a meeting with the principal might be extreme, but sometimes it is needed. Maybe another approach would be to tell the rude woman we do not feel comfortable talking about our personal business at school. Sometimes, we just have to tell rude people that they are insensitive to ask these types of questions in public. To the O.P., I am glad that this woman's behavior did not affect your daughter. |
