Uni is really well trained, BUT when we go to Petco.... oh boy! I don't know if it's all the doggy smells or what, but we get out of the car and she goes crazy! She cries like there's no tomorrow (and LOUD), she HAS to say hi to EVERYONE, smell EVERYTHING, frankly it's embarrassing! She pulls and tries to run when we have her on the harness. it looks like she swimming in place! Most of the time we take her behind the store first (where the trucks do deliveries) and have her do some laps before we go in to tire her out a bit! That usually works, but what can I do to correct her excitement in the first place? (I am getting a front D ring harness for the pulling)
Last halloween we wanted to enter her in the costume contest (I make costumes) but she was so crazy we had to leave b/c there were so many other pups there. I couldn't even say Hi to my client!
