Thanks Debby. We just got back from a visit - he was REALLY out of it but I'm hopeful that tomorrow he'll be much better. The vet said he was able to open the intestine and remove the plastic (he showed it to me and it was a LOT) and was able to resew the intestine together instead of cutting out the part the plastic was in and reattaching. He then said he waited to see (and here I lost it, I've no idea what he said) if it irrigated? before deciding he didn't need to cut out any bad part. I really am not sure what he said but I'm guessing he made sure the part that had been holding hte plastic was ok to leave in.

Kilo was trembling as I put him on my lap (he was attached to an IV) but calmed down soon enough and I just held him for a while. I think he was trembling because he wanted to say hi or respond to us because when husbandito came over to say hi he trembled for a while again. I took some more of our clothing over and removed my son's shirt from yesterday and put one of my shirts for him to lie on and then covered him with a towel. The room is A/C during the day but at night they turn it off and run a fan.

Dr. Paco seems to think he should be able to come home tomorrow afternoon so we'll see how it goes. I'm guessing he'll need to wear a cone? He has a longish scar on his belly.

I'm uploading some photos now, I'll see if I can edit this with a link to them.
