I had Doodlebug and Bogey's removed during their neuter. D-Bugs was 5 months old when he had it done on his front paws. Bogey was almost 2 yrs old (he's a rescue) but his were dangling and I was afraid they would get caught on something and cause a real problem. They were neutered at the same time and they each had 1 little stitch on each paw and they didn't seem to be in pain afterward.
