I hope Im not tempting fate by sharing too soon but giving Tia her bath today was actually a pleasure.
Shes just not comfortable about baths. She normally makes a run for it up my body and over my shoulder. But nails filed ,haircuts ,ribbons in ,teeth and all the rest of the grooming , fine but baths ,she stresses a bit.
Only today I got it all ready as usual, i have 2 small bowls on the floor, one she stands in with no water and the other with her warm bathwater, told her to come as usual and instead of the shaking she strolled over and jumped straight into the empty bowl.
I was shocked and so pleased I couldn't stop telling her what a good girl she was.
She stayed calm althrough ,including keeping all 4 paws in the water at once which was a first.
I have no idea what was different about today but well done Tia another hurdle conquered.
