I use a crate also for Tia.When she was a puppy(shes 11 mths now) it was her safe haven. I made it real cosy for her and she loved it. She still uses it now but only at night as she is a little bigger now (5.5lbs) and she has a grown up bed for during the day and crated at night. Ive found it a god send and wasn't keen on them at first but things like traveling as someone has already said or recently when we stayed overnight in a hotel I knew she would be safe in there.heras a pic of how I tried to make it more cosy for her.
