I love P90X and if you do it for 90 days straight you will see amazing results. Worth every penny. |
Yes, that's what she told me too but I'm still not quite convinced (although she says Tony Horton says he shattered his knee in a snow skiing accident also). Every so often, he decides he's going to start walking for exercise and after a couple days of it, his knee will be so bad that it will just give out on him with no notice. He pretty much limps all the time but it's worse after a long day. My friend says it's all about building up the muscles around the knee and in the calf so as to make the knee stronger. But I was looking at week 2 of the program and the "explosive jumping cardio" (I think that's how they described it) just sounds way too rough for him. It's hard to know for sure without seeing the different variations of the exercises.
He really wants to give it a try though. Personally, I just can't see committing that much time every day to a workout routine (between traveling to and from work, dealing with kids and the household). That's why I was wondering about the 10 Minute Trainer for me. I don't need to lose any weight (well, maybe 5 lbs or so in the gut and thighs) but everything really needs to be toned up. Do you know anyone who's done this one?
