Break ups stink, I would stay at your parents until you are 100% sure your relationship is over, often times you both realize what went wrong and want to change it and start over expecially after 3 years... you dont want to jump into a lease or leave a roommate, which is what I would suggest!!
Sometimes having a room mate is alot of fun and that would be the avenue I would take personally!
