I understand your predicament completely. That's a tough situation to be in. Sounds like she is being faced with some difficulties with the litter/3 yr old/etc that she should have been prepared and willing to deal with from the beginning. You have a responsibility as a breeder to see things through in the best interest of the puppies, not just place them quickly because things got tough. Of course, that doesn't exactly help you out in the situation. In any event, it sounds like you've pretty much got your mind made up. You've gotten some good advice already. My biggest concern would be to watch her for signs of hypoglycemia AND ensuring that at such a young age, the breeder has had time to have the proper health screenings done.
