in any way, to give veterinary advice. I can only share bits of knowledge I've gained from owning dogs for many years.
Your vet is an actual DVM, right? Maybe he is giving fluids subcutaneously rather than with an IV?
**This I DO know. Kilo absolutely must get fluids into him SOME way.** The good thing is, your vet must know that too...it's so basic.
I've never had a dog with pancreatitis, so I know next to nothing about it. I have read that they have painful abdomens with an attack, which you said Kilo didn't have? Pancreatitis

I'm assuming little Kilo has all his shots...Parvo, Distemper, etc...right? Maybe he really
does have an infection from putting God knows what in his little tummy during his outside adventures.
I hope an actual expert will come along soon, with some concrete help to offer...
