Oh I'd leave her in the crate. We let belle in the bed and then she broke her leg, now getting her to sleep in the crate to protect her means I am on the floor on a blow-up mattress next to her....
Obviously, I don't think it's something you need to prepare for in case of injury, just if you want them back in the crate you might find it quite tricky and end up on the inflatable like me!
