3. Is someone at the vet's 24/7 watching the animals in their care? From what I gather your baby is very young and there is always the chance of a hypo episode with these little ones, if he isn't on an iv and is ill and no one is there watching how will they prevent this from happening.

I know there are more questions, just all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure others who are concerned will post some as well
I'm tired & can't think either. But don't hesitate to ask why about anything they tell you, or explain things again if you don't understand. If vet gets too carried away with vet technical terms, don't hesitate to ask them to explain it to you in plain English. They forget we didn't go to medical school. Take notes if you want.

At the very least vet should not have a problem with you visiting Munchie everyday if you want or should have a very good explanation as to why not. If you can see him you'll feel better & have a chance to monitor the situation for yourself as well as a chance to ask more questions. You'll feel less helpless than you are now. It's terrible not knowing, not understanding. You are paying vet for a service & you have the right to have your questions answered to be informed of what you are paying for. The more you know, the better you will be at knowing what to ask next. The more you know the better you'll be able to care for him when he gets home.

Remember... there are no dumb questions. Ask away! We'll all be thinking about you!
