I have a new dog that's 1 year old, the previous owner said it had shots already but couln't locate the paperwork. so i dont know if he really was vaccinated or not. i took him and the vet said that giving the shots again wouldn't do any harm so he was revaccinated for everything including rabies. even though the vet said it was harmless, i still worry about over vaccinating him: he is only 6 pounds. would this cause health problems later on in life? if he really was vaccinated as a puppy then at 1 year of age, would he have needed additional vaccinations anyway?
