First of all, welcome to YT

I think all of the previous advice is spot on, unfortunately for the safety of your yorkie you can not have those 2 dogs together or you risk a serious or fatal injury to your yorkie baby. If this is just a room mate situation where there isn't a relationship involved then it's a no brainer quite honestly, either you find somewhere else for your yorkie and you to live, or your room mate finds another place, in the mean time keeping the dogs seperated. If there is some sort of relationship between you and your room mate then I guess it would be a little more difficult to decide what to do. If so though there has to be something done if the living situation is going to stay the same then one of the dogs should be rehomed for the safety of the other.
