I have used UPS a lot and I can tell you from my experience that UPS Ground will not go out on a weekend or holiday but UPS overnight or 2nd day will. So, since you sent your package out ground you actually had until today to get it there. Also, UPS ground does not delivery to residential homes on Monday's either. Just info for future use.
