I would like to see the standard for Yorkies in the US changed so that full tails are the standard. Until the standard is changed, people will continue to dock Yorkie tails. Unfortunate, but true.
I also think ear docking of other breeds is wrong.
I don't really understand the issue with dew claws. Perhaps there is some advantage to removing them. But if not, I think removal of dew claws should also be banned. |
