One of our favorite jokes in Nursing School was "Whadya call the person who graduates the bottom of their Medical class?"......"A Doctor" . And that's the same for all professions - some are good, some are bad - some have intentions that are spot-on, some have intentions that are all about themselves.

I agree with what you're saying about doctors, both bc I have 2 in my family and bc I met a ton of them when they were in pre-med, and when I was in Nursing. They get into the field for ALL sorts of reasons, not all of them admirable.
