is he chewing the baseboard because he is suffering from separation anxiety. I don't know much about how to solve this problem as Layla never had an issue- but the bitter apple will only prevent him from chewing that- unless his anxiety is resolved he will just find something else to destroy. Hopefully someone on here can hlep you with this.
