I absolutely believe the care, nutrition, etc. they receive has everything to do with longevity. With the kind of care Wylie's gets, I'm sure he'll beat the statistics, too.
Is this type of Cushings reversible? Lady was diagnosed with iatrogenic Cushings a couple of years from taking steriods for her arthritis. She was given about six months to live. I stopped the steriods and it was reversed. |

. I don't feel those odds really apply to him either - bc of his health overall, and I think we caught it early, and he is young and so vibrant. Not even a smidge of lethargy, which is odd really.
They didn't mention anything about it being reversible (since he's never been on steroids) - but I will be sure and ask about it at our next appointment.
Thanks to everyone else too, the support makes me feel much better. And yes, that CanineCushings site is excellent - I've spent a lot of time there over the last few weeks.
