If you are looking for a pet, most reptuable breeders will only sell a pet on a nueter/spay contract. They will not sell pets for breeding. If you buy from a person who shows, they usually sell the pups that are not quite good enough in their eyes to go into the show ring, and therefor they don't believe that they are good enough to breed either.
