You might try putting a sheet over his crate at night too. That helps quiet them down somewhat.

Puppyhood doesn't last forever, but it is tough, that is the honest truth. But if you stay persistant, and consistant and praise and reward when he does things right, you will soon be looking back and hardly remember the sleepless nights.

It will take him awhile to settle in, to get to know that you are his forever home and you will come back after you leave him. Remember, that he was just taken away from everything he has known all his life with the security of his furry mommy and littermates. So it can take a while. But all sooooo worth it for the love and companionship of your furry friend
