The lady has the dam and sire and a litter of puppies...she IS a breeder in every way.
You seem to realize that 8 weeks is not an appropriate age to bring the pup home....so why is it up for debate. IMO, none of the reasons you have listed would justify the dog being placed at 8 weeks. IMO, it seems like you are really set on this pup and trying (maybe subconciously) to find a reason to justify the breeder releasing the pup to early and your willingness to accept that. Just my .02...the choice is yours to make in the end.

(Also, I think that ellie may brought up some very good points to consider as well.)
