In the town my mom lives in the vet offers a generic Heartguard. She brought some down last time she came for my big dogs, didn't have Reagan yet. I also have a friend who is close with a vet and she herself works with animals a lot and says that you can get a liquid version of Ivermectin at the co-op(for cheap) and said to ask my vet that he should agree but I haven't asked yet so I don't know for sure.
