I think having two is a great idea if it suits your lifestyle. I have an only child so to speak and it suits us.We wouldn't be able to travel to half the places we like to take her to with another in tow.Tia has lots of interaction with other dogs ,german shepherd,chi, poodle and another yorkie , just to name a few.You need to do what suits you and your family but they can live happily being the only furbaby in the house.
