I tried to tell her different but she told me Black/tan Blue /gold are the standard colors and there are no others period. she was kind of making me mad so I let it go at that.

If that person looked at the AKC registry application she would see that there are not TWO but FOUR choices. At least that was the case when I registered my last puppy.
Remi, the adult parti male in my avatar and my gallery that Villette so graciously posted for me. (Even computr for dummies is over me head!) He is AKC registered with a 5 generation pedigree that has his picture embedded in it. He is registered according the decision of the special commitee that individually inspects the pics of the dog on the application and the ancestors. I completed the application, wrote a letter and included 4 views of him-face, back, left and right sides. I would be happy to send those pics to anyone via e-mail.. When I first saw his pic at 2 days of age, his tail had not been docked yet and the tip was white. It has been docked as is customary in the USA, The litter that I have now, I jokingly call them Biewties for 2 reasons, mom is Biewer and sire is parti but also because they are so beeutiful, were parented by a Biewer female and an AKC parti male. They are all piebald-produced but they will not be registered because of their mixed registry parents. Also, they will never be used in a breeding program--Remi's last 3 gens are blue and tan standard color Yorkies. The piebald gene is a recessive on both sides of his ancestry..Therefore, the puppies could produce standard color puppies. Breed a parti or Biewer and you will get the markings of partis. Breed parti to parti, Biewer to Biewer and you will get those specific puppies. Now, all that is assuming that those are the markings for several generations..
